I'm a science enthusiast, especially in different aspects of molecular biology and computational biology. My hobbies include travelling, wildlife photography, coding, scientific illustrations using Adobe Illustrator, learning new software and PC gaming.

Programming and Computational Biology

I am an amateur Python programmer with a keen interest in computational biology. I have knowledge of using different computational tools like BioPython, ClastalW command line, and Bowtie2, among others. I am always interested in learning and collaborating on projects involving biological modelling and bioinformatics.

Maintaining Cell cultures

I have experience in handling both primary cells and cancer cell lines. Also have expertise in cell biology techniques like immunofluorescence, transfection, confocal microscopy.

Maintaining mice colonies

I have experience in breeding, maintaining and doing experiments with mice.

Molecular biology techniques

Have expertise in different molecular biology techniques like cloning, nucleic acid and protein isolation, western blots

Making scientific illustrations and figures

I have the ability to make different figures and illustrations in adobe illustrator

Teaching skills

I am passionate about teaching and inspiring young minds toward scientific thinking and understanding new aspects of life science. As part of my PMRF TAship, I have volunteered to teach different NPTEL courses involving biology and Python programming.
